Dr. Wade Muncey M.D., of Idaho Urologic Institute, Named Recipient of the Center of Excellence Award

This national designation is awarded annually to a select group of physicians—approximately 50 providers across the country—who meet a series of rigorous clinical and professional benchmarks. In addition to the required procedure volume, recipients must also fulfill at least two additional criteria, such as being fellowship-trained, serving as clinical faculty responsible for resident or fellow education, contributing to peer-reviewed publications, presenting at national or regional conferences, or holding membership in professional organizations such as SMSNA, GURS, SUPS, or the AUA. This recognition highlights both Dr. Muncey’s surgical expertise and his commitment to ongoing education and leadership in men’s health. 

Dr. Muncey is a board-certified, fellowship-trained urologist with specialized expertise in sexual medicine, male fertility, and men’s health. He completed his medical education and surgical training at nationally respected institutions, including the University of Washington, Case Western Reserve University, and Stanford University. His advanced training and dedication to innovation allow him to offer the most current and effective treatment options for conditions such as erectile dysfunction, Peyronie’s Disease, BPH, and male infertility.
