Business Service Manager
Doug Dreibelbis brings over 18 years of progressive leadership in healthcare billing and practice management to his role as Business Service Manager at Idaho Urologic Institute and Surgical Center of Idaho. With a deep-rooted passion for healthcare—shaped by growing up as the son of a general practice physician and being married to a family practice physician—he is dedicated to supporting high-quality, patient-centered care in the urologic and surgical specialties.
He began his career in engineering, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of California, Santa Barbara, where he also competed as an NCAA Division I athlete in high jump. He transitioned into manufacturing engineering and management roles at aerospace subcontractors, specializing in precision components such as aircraft rubber seals for doors and windows etc.
In 2006, he shifted his focus to healthcare administration, joining a family practice clinic where he advanced through various billing and operational roles over 18 years, ultimately serving as manager. His expertise in revenue cycle management, team leadership, and operational efficiency has prepared him to oversee business services effectively at Idaho Urologic Institute and its affiliated Surgical Center of Idaho, ensuring seamless support for the organization’s mission of delivering advanced urologic care across the Treasure Valley.
Beyond his professional life, family remains his top priority. He and his wife, Robyn—a family practice physician—have been happily married for 37 years, having met in high school. They are proud parents of two grown sons and maintain close relationships with their siblings.
He enjoys an active lifestyle, including golfing, savoring Pinot Noir, and cheering for his favorite college football team, Notre Dame. As a lifelong advocate for athletics, he volunteered as a high school high jump coach for 15 years and later officiated competitions until relocating to Idaho.
He is excited to contribute his blend of technical precision, healthcare operations experience, and commitment to excellence to the team at Idaho Urologic Institute and Surgical Center of Idaho, supporting continued growth and outstanding patient outcomes in the community.
